WE ARE UPMINSTER CAMERA CLUB
Welcome to Upminster Camera Club’s website.
Founded in 1955, we are proud to still have a thriving membership.
We welcome photographers of all skill levels and backgrounds, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected whilst appreciating diverse perspectives and styles in photography.
We encourage continuous learning and the sharing of knowledge, skills, and experiences to help each other grow as photographers.
Our club is not just about photography; it’s about building a community and forming lasting friendships through shared interests and activities.
Above all, we believe in enjoying the art of creating images and having fun together, whether through club meetings, outings, or social events.
About
Our extensive programme of both competition and interesting lectures help to build and encourage our members to advance their skills in all aspects of photography.
All members are encouraged to enter club competitions at a level that suits their ability, where their photographs are judged and given a critique. We have three classes, Preliminary, Intermediate and Advanced, click here to see examples.
Digital photography and digital manipulation is seen by the club as an inevitable part of our hobby and is actively encouraged.
We have regular club outings and studio evenings which help to keep us all motivated and the friendly atmosphere at our meetings will ensure that you will receive a warm welcome, so why not come along and see us on any Tuesday evening at 7.45pm for 8.00pm start.
