Before the evening started I was worried that there was going to be a violent confrontation, when Sarah’s cat looked over and down at Chris’s dog ,who happened to be looking up at the same time, luckily someone joined the meeting at that point and Sarah’s screen moved along one and the violence was diverted.

I knew he was going to be a an excellent speaker when, after making a statement about 10,000 hours to be an expert, he said “How do you know, I can hear you ask”. Well he had to be a very good lip reader or telepathic, as we were all on mute.

He spent the next couple of hours showing and explaining how he took his London photographs. I don’t know what his job is or who his employers are but I wonder if they have any vacancies. Flexi lunchtimes, flexi hours.

A couple of pictures that interested me was the one of the Thames, when he mentioned the title “River Phoenix” I was looking for a portrait of the late actor.

There was another called “Up The Greasy Pole” was that Alf at the top?

There was another one taken at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, I had a good look but couldn’t see Mandy.
